Little Dragons Summer Camp (ages 3-6): June 14th to June 18th (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM)

AKF Itto Martial Arts is pleased to announce a special summer camp for kids ages 3-6. Little Dragons Summer Camp will provide a number of fun activities for young martial artists, including tumbling, kicking, games, falling, movies, crafts, snacks and more. Tuition is $125 per child.

Tuesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 17th,2010: Hapkido Test

This test will be held during normal class hours. Check with your instructor to see if you are scheduled to promote!

Saturday, June 19th, 2010, 2:30 PM: Kyuki-Do Test

Our Bring-A-Friend-To-Class-Week was a resounding success! We saw many new faces, and everyone had a great time. Remember that ever week can be bring-a-friend-week... February 27th, 2010: MYB Black Belt Promotion

A heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Kristi St. Clair and Mr. John St. Clair for their black belt promotion in Jujitsu under Sensei Carole Ivie, Hachidan. The test was a grueling four and a half hour affair, but the St. Clairs demonstrated true martial spirit and perseverance. Keep up the great work - you two will be excellent black belts!

February 26th-28th, 2010: Yoshukai Winter Camp

A large contingent of students from Athens Yoshukai (AKF Itto's sister school on the east side) attended this year's Yoshukai Winter Camp, held in Pensacola, Florida. Sensei Hofmeister did a great job coordinating travel arrangements for this event and encouraging attendance. Thank you Sensei! Osu!

February 20th, 2010: Knife Seminar by Professor Ken Lones

This fantastic seminar was hosted by MAUSA at JSU in Alabama, and covered open hand fighting, stick work and knife work. Many thanks to Sensei Lones for this wonderful opportunity!
